Orange County has initiated a Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) study for the planned improvement (widening) of Reams Road from Summerlake Park Boulevard to Taborfield Avenue, a distance of approximately 3.1 miles. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the addition of lanes to the existing two-lane section of Reams Road within the project limits. By the end of the study, a final preferred alternative will be presented that incorporates public input with technical evaluation assessing the net benefits of the improvements. The study began in April 2017 and is expected to be finished in the spring of 2018.
